Description
Vintage Lowenthal Bovet 4-Function Monopusher Chronograph | Rare 1930s Swiss Watch | Fleurier
Exceptionally rare 1930s Lowenthal chronograph concealing one of Swiss horology’s best-kept secrets — the legendary Bovet 4-Function (“Chronographe 4 Temps”) mechanism, manufactured by Bovet Frères & Cie in Fleurier. Predating the famous 1936 Jeanrenaud patent by a full year, this 1935 monopusher chronograph features a distinctive crenellated pusher that can be both pushed and pulled — enabling stop, restart, and reset functions in a single crown. A groundbreaking piece of vintage Swiss watchmaking history, highly sought after by serious chronograph collectors and horological researchers. Extremely rare in any condition, and rarer still in a signed Lowenthal example. An unmissable acquisition for the advanced vintage watch collector.
